Mobile on the rise

Lights, camera, action! Media consumption is growing and eMarketer tells us that on average the US consumer spends up to 11 hours a day interacting with major media. Of those 11 hours, the Internet represents the second largest share of media time; television and video viewing together take out the number one spot. Also on the rise, unsurprisingly, is time spent by Americans on mobile device usage and this is growing exponentially. We have what is known as the 'Three screens" - television, internet and mobile- which collectively represented almost 75% of all media consumption in 2010.
